Founded by Pierre Montagnac, Maison Montagnac has been one of the major wine merchants in Bordeaux for 27 years. The company has direct allocations from the top chateaux and distributes the wines in over 45 countries. In France, it works alongside restaurateurs and wine shops, as well as a clientele of private customers.
Following in the footsteps of his father, and having received the support of his brother for 13 years, Romain Montagnac is running the company.
Since early 2022, Romain has been joined by the Roulleau family as majority shareholder; the Roulleaus also own two vineyards, Château Dauzac (Grand Cru Classé in 1855, Margaux) and Domaine de La Bégude (Bandol).
The three wine companies are gathered within the FORWINE&MORE department.
This evolution is a guarantee of sustainability and places Maison Montagnac in a development process and a long-term vision.
